Overview

Proper Digital Studio is operated by Proper Digital Services Limited. This policy explains what information the app uses to let Shopify merchants manage mobile app homepage content from inside their Shopify admin.

Information We Process

The app processes the merchant shop domain, Shopify app installation and session data, encrypted offline Admin API tokens, internal mobile app target mappings, and editor content needed to load and save mobile homepage data.

Editor content can include homepage handles, announcement text, hero slides, category tiles, featured collection choices, Shopify file references, and image uploads selected by the merchant.

Proper Digital Studio does not request protected customer data. The app does not require customer names, email addresses, order history, payment details, or customer account information.

How We Use Information

We use this information to install and authenticate the app, resolve the current shop, load the shop's configured mobile app target, save merchant-selected homepage content, support merchants, and comply with Shopify app requirements.

Service Providers

The app runs on Netlify and uses Netlify Database for production persistence. Shopify provides app authentication, Admin API access, file storage, and compliance webhook delivery.

Retention And Deletion

We keep app data only as long as needed to provide the app and meet operational requirements. When a merchant uninstalls the app or Shopify sends a valid compliance webhook, we remove or invalidate app installation data tied to that shop where required.

Content saved into the merchant's Shopify store, such as metaobjects or files, remains controlled by the merchant in Shopify unless removed separately.
