Overview

Proper Geoblocker is operated by Proper Digital Services Limited. This policy explains what information the app uses to provide country-based storefront access controls for Shopify merchants.

Information We Process

The app processes the merchant shop domain, Shopify app installation and session data, app configuration settings, runtime sync status, and the current Shopify Managed Pricing plan state. Configuration settings can include selected countries, access mode, visitor message text, redirect URL, and contact link URL.

Proper Geoblocker does not request protected customer data. The storefront theme app embed evaluates country rules using storefront context and does not require customer names, email addresses, orders, or payment details.

How We Use Information

We use this information to install and authenticate the app, save merchant settings, sync storefront runtime configuration, provide plan entitlements, support merchants, and comply with Shopify app requirements.

Service Providers

The app runs on Netlify and uses Netlify Database for production persistence. Shopify provides app authentication, billing state, and compliance webhook delivery.

Retention And Deletion

We keep app data only as long as needed to provide the app and meet operational requirements. When a merchant uninstalls the app or Shopify sends a valid compliance webhook, we remove or invalidate app data tied to that shop where required.
